Friends is now on Netflix, or Why couldn’t it be Seinfeld?

Friends is now on Netflix, but why couldn’t it be Seinfeld? We’ll get all the great moments of Phoebe, Monica, Rachel, Ross, Chandler, and that guy Matt LeBlanc plays, but why couldn’t it be Jerry, Elaine, Kramer, and George? Every episode of a show about a group of pals, but why couldn’t it be a show about nothing? “I’ll Be There For You,” they say, but why can’t Seinfeld be there for me? Friends has a 9.0 rating on IMDB, but doesn’t Seinfeld have the same? We’ll get to hear as much “Smelly Cat” as we can take, but why not all the “Yadas” till our ears bleed? The crazy antics of a group twenty-something who become thirty-somethings, but why couldn’t it be the neurotic antics of a group of old-somethings? Now we can root for Rachel and Ross forever *sigh*, but why not a show where there aren’t two main characters with similar sounding names….? Chandler’s last name is a search engine that I rarely use, but why couldn’t it be Kramer, who’s last name is a Dustin Hoffman movie I’ve been meaning to watch for about 10 years?

Oh well, now you can watch all of Friends on Netflix, which I guess isn’t so bad… but why couldn’t it be Seinfeld? Guess I’ll just have to watch that sh*t on TV.
