“Monthly Wrap” is my monthly post about the things I’m loving, find interesting, or just feel like sharing. In other words, whatever happens to be taking up space in my brain. Here’s where my head has been recently:
Savannah
I took a trip to Savannah over St. Patrick’s Day Weekend to visit family and enjoy the festivities. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere… lively. Ready for my next visit!
Turn: Washington Spies
I completed this AMC show on Netflix. While I always enjoy period-pieces, I’ve never been particularly interested in the Revolutionary War era. That has changed after watching this show.
Disney
For the first time in about 15, I took a trip to Walt Disney World! I went with a friend for her Birthday and we had a blast. Going as an adult allowed me to appreciate the scale and work that goes into making Disney, Disney. Also, the experience was very nostalgic- prompting me to want to rewatch all Disney movies. Look out for many Disney-inspired posts to come.
The Bell Jar
I finally got around to reading Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar. It was great. How does someone make such depressing subjects so charming?
Podcasts
I’ve been on a big podcast-kick lately, specifically looking for shows that focus on mindfulness and soul-cleansing themes. These are my recent favorites: Oprah’s “SuperSoul Conversations”, “The Tao of Self-Confidence”, and “Pursuit with Purpose”.
This tinted sunscreen
With spring flying-in hot, I needed a daily facial sunscreen to safely embrace the warm weather. I went with Coola’s Mineral Face Sunscreen Matte Tint in SPF 30. So, far I’ve been happy with this product. It’s similar to a BB cream, but the tint is very sheer. With a little concealer, it’s the right amount of makeup for me during the day.
Spring is in the air
Speaking of spring- YAY! It’s finally warm (in Atlanta)!
Ready Player One
Saw it. Enjoyed it. Want to rewatch it.
