Fernbank Museum of Natural History

Fernbank is Atlanta’s resident science museum with exhibits both informative and entertaining. I went to this museum just last week to attend Fernbank After Dark, an adults-only event that takes place once a month throughout the summer. It was a really fun time and I had the chance to see their current exhibits, including “Wild Weather” and the Dinosaur plaza. Look out for “Gladiators: Heroes of the Colosseum” coming Fall 2018. You can also see 2D and 3D documentaries with daily showtimes in the new Giant Screen Theater.

Today this small theater plays both new indie films and cult classics.  I saw Sailor Moon R at the Plaza just a few months ago. Come out any Friday at midnight to do the time warp and watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
